Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital Volunteers
The Mission of the Volunteer Association is to assist the Board of Directors of the Hospital in carrying out the Hospital's Mission of providing high quality patient services.
The Purpose of the Volunteer Association shall be to support the interpretation of the Hospital to the public, the provision of service to the Hospital and it's patients, and fundraising activities carried out in a manner consistent with the Hospital's principles and policies.
Membership in the Volunteer Association shall be open to all volunteers of Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital after completing 40 hours and 4 months of volunteer service.
Fundraising activities include operation the hospital's Gift Shop, Crossroads Cafe Coffee Bar, Bake Sales, Craft Sales, Raffles, Fashion Shows,Tree of Lights, Yard Sales, Car Wash and many more.

Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital
Hotel-Dieu Hospital was established in 1888 and the first formal Volunteer Auxiliary was started in 1903. In 2004 Hotel-Dieu merged with Grace Hospital. The combined auxiliaries become the Volunteer Association of Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital. Over the years the Volunteers have raised over $ 4 million for the hospital. In 2013 we will be proud to celebrate 110 years of serving the Windsor-Essex County community.

Almighty God and Heavenly Father of Mankind, bless we pray Thee, our endeavours in these hospitals in which we strive to bring comfort and hope to all who are in distress of mind or body.
Guide us so that we may use the privilege given us to help the aged, the ill and the very young with generosity, with discretion and with gentleness.
Give us the strength to labour diligently, the courage to think and to speak with clarity and conviction but without prejudice or pride.
Grant us we beseech Thee both wisdom and humility in directing our united efforts to do for others only as Thou would have us do. Amen
